Notes:
37. Recheck oil level during first few hours of operation.
38. Grease daily when in use. Use hand held lubrication gun. Apply until fresh grease exudes from bearing. Wipe off
excess.
39. Five strokes of grease from hand lubricating gun at outboard drum bearings.
40. Clean and apply a light coat of silicone lubricant to slack wire limit switch and interlock switch.
41. Emergency hand crank, remove housing and apply a light coating of grease by hand or with a small brush to the
ratchet dog and ratchet wheel teeth.
CAUTION
Do Not Contaminate Friction Discs With Grease.
42. Gear reducer. Remove plug at 6 o'clock position on reducer case and drain reducer completely. Refill with
lubricant.
WARNING
When applying grease to wire rope by hand, broken strands of wire can cause injury to
personnel. Use approved gloves.
43. Apply grease evenly with small brush or by hand.
44. Open drain valve(s) and drain reservoir(s). Close drain valve(s). Remove fill cap(s) and fill reservoir(s) to the HIGH
mark on sight gauge(s) with hydraulic fluid.
