a. Propeller Removal and Reinstallation:
When so authorized by the Ship Surveyor, make all necessary removals and remove the propeller for repairs or
performance of work on shafting and/or bearings.
Upon completion of repairs, reinstall propeller in good order using new seal ring. Reinstall all removals in good
order. Fill fairwater with tallow.

Repair the propeller as required by fairing blades, brazing fractures, building up blades and grinding smooth to
return the propeller to its original characteristics.
