INSPECT
1. Inspect for loose bolts.
2. Inspect for belt tension.
REPAIR
Repair is limited to replacement of defective parts.
REPLACEMENT
CAUTION
Excessive belt tension is the most frequent cause of bearing wear and resulting
noise.
1. Loosen nuts (4).
2. Lift fan (3) enough to remove belt (2).
3. Remove fan (3).
4. Loosen setscrews (6).
5. Remove bolts (5).
