NOTE
Propulsion engine weight is 4925 lbs (2145 kg) dry.
When a heavy boat is dry-docked, it naturally undergoes some bending.
Therefore, it is always good practice to unbolt the marine gear coupling to prevent
bending of the shaft.
WARNING
To prevent the possibility of a fire when using cutting or welding equipment, place
a crewman above and below the deck with a fire extinguisher.
Keep clear of the area directly below the deck section being removed.
