2-79. DRAINING THE FIREMAIN SYSTEM.
a.
The firemain system must be drained after use in freezing temperatures.
b.
Refer to figure FO-39 and open drain valves as follows:
(1)
Reefer Room (2-23-0-A).
Rotate valve (1) counter-clockwise.
(2)
Aft Engine Room (2-56-0-E)
(a)
Rotate valve (2) counter-clockwise.
(b)
After draining is complete, rotate valves (1 and 2) clock-wise.
