OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
FOR
RAISING AND LOWERING MAST
STARTING PROCEDURES
1.
Check the level of the hydraulic oil in the reservoir of the central hydraulic power unit, located on the
starboard side in the forward engine room. Add oil if necessary.
2.
Energize power unit by pushing the "start" button on the panel in the engine room access.
OPERATING PROCEDURE
1.
Operate the control valve, located in the recess on the inboard side of the pilot house, in the desired direction.
2.
NOTE: When mast is raised, install and secure aft and outboard stays to padeyes.
Before lowering,
disconnect stays.
SECURING PROCEDURE
1.
Stop system by centering the control valve.
2.
Stop hydraulic pump at the controller.
