Step 2.

Check brake spring.

Replace if broken.

Step 3.

Check shim washers.

Check that quantity is correct under release stop screws.

Step 4.

Check magnet gap.

Readjust.

CORRECTIVE ACTION

1. Motor does not start.

Step 1.

Check for fuse out, loose or open connection.

Correct open circuit condition.

Step 2.

Check rotating parts of motor. They may be jammed mechanically.

Check and correct - Bent shaft. Refer to Direct Support Maintenance any

broken housing, damaged bearings, or foreign material in motor.
