The oil pressure in the system must be released prior to servicing the
hand pump or any other components of the system to prevent possible
injury to personnel or equipment.
b. Clean exterior dirt
from hand pump and
hydraulic hoses.
c. Disconnect hydraulic
hoses at the pump.
d. Remove bolts and lock-
washers and lift pump
from its mounting.
