VALVE SPOOLS
Each spool is constructed for a specific valve application and is dynamically and hydrostatically
balanced to prevent pressure forces from moving the spool within the bore. The spool used is a four-way type.

METHODS OF CONTROL
SOLENOID - Push type solenoids are used to control movement of the spool. A manual plunger is
available in each solenoid to check spool movement during test. Push-type solenoids move the spool away
from the solenoid when energized.
When a valve uses two solenoids, only one solenoid
should be energized at a time or damage may result.
