2-80. DRAINING THE FIREMAIN SYSTEM.
a.
The firemain system must be drained after use in freezing temperatures.
b.
Refer to FO-39 and open drain valves as follows:
(1)
Bosun's Stores (2-23-0-A).
Rotate valve (1) counter-clockwise.
(2)
Equipment and Repair Parts Stores (2-28-0-A).
Rotate valve (2) counter-clockwise.
(3)
Aft Engine Room (2-56-0-E).
(a) Rotate valve (3) counter-clockwise.
(b) After draining is complete, rotate valves (1, 2 and 3) clockwise.
