 2-91. DRAINING THE FIREMAIN SYSTEM.
a. The firemain system must be drained after use in freezing weather. Refer to FO-47.
b. Open drain valves as follows:
(1)
Bosun's Stores (2-23-0-A)
Rotate valve (1) counter-clockwise.
(2)
Equipment and Repair Parts Stores (2-28-0-A)
Rotate valve (2) counter-clockwise.
(3)
After Engine Room (2-56-0-E).
Rotate valve (3) counter-clockwise).
c. After draining is complete
Rotate valves (1, 2, and 3) clockwise to close.
