Temperature below normal.
Step 1.
Check for improper circulation.
The thermostat may not be closing. Remove, inspect and test the thermostat. Install a
new thermostat, if necessary. Refer to paragraph 3-153.
Step 2.
Check for excessive leakage at thermostat seal.
Excessive leakage of coolant past the thermostat seal(s) is a cause of continued low
coolant operating temperature. When this occurs, replace the thermostat seal(s). Refer
to paragraph 3-153.
