Cranking cycle is too short (Cont).
Step 4.
Check for accumulator precharge too low.
Open the bypass valve on the hand pump to discharge oil from the accumulator. Install
a gaging assembly on the accumulator air valve. If precharge is less than 1500 psi
(2034 kPa), add nitrogen. Make sure precharge holds by testing for nitrogen leakage.

Loss of fluid from tank.
Step 1.
Check for leaky pipe connections.
Check all lines and connections. Be sure no rubbing or excessive vibration is present.
Have system under pressure when looking for leaks.
