NOTE
It is very important that the proper method is
followed when removing a cylinder liner.  Do not
attempt to push the liner out by inserting a bar in the
liner ports and rotating the crankshaft, otherwise the
piston may be damaged or the upper ring groove
may collapse.
a. Remover
1. Remove bolt (A), and
Use tool J1918-
cylinder
lower shoe (B) from

shaft (C).
2. Lower the lower shoe
through the cylinder
liner.
3. Lower the shaft (C)
into the cylinder
liner.
4. Attach lower shoe (B)
Place the shoe
and bolt (A) to shaft
on the bottom
(C).
