Observe WARNING in procedure.

Check for cracks, dents, breaks,
excess grease, and wear on springs,
grids, studs, hubs and covers.
Check friction lining for wear and
excess oil or grease.
REPLACE
Disconnect power to the winch whenever working
on the ramp gate, wire rope, or in the vicinity
of the winch in the winch room.
