a. Place multimeter selector
switch to the appropriate DC
scale and check voltage
across the auxiliary terminal
and the negative output
terminal. Correct voltage is
0.2 volt. If the voltage
exceeds this value, the
isolation diode is defective.
Notify your supervisor.
b. Place a jumper wire across oil
pressure switch at propulsion
unit to short out switch.
Check dc voltage across
auxiliary terminal and
negative output terminal.
Correct voltage is 1.8 to 2.5
volts. This test evaluates
field circuit.
