The fluid pressure in the system must be released prior to any
maintenance to the hand pump, or any other components of the system,
to prevent possible injury to personnel or equipment.

hydraulic starting system.

a. Clean all exterior dirt from
hand pump and hydraulic lines.
b. Disconnect hydraulic lines (1

c. Remove four bolts (3) and
lockwashers (4) securing pump.
d. Remove pump (5) from mounting
plate (6).
e. Remove valve and piping (7)
from pump (5).
