s. Place differential lever (43)

over pin of bellcrank (51).

Secure with flatwasher (42),

and retainer (41).

u. Thread locknut (32) on the high

speed spring retainer (33)

approximately 1-1/2 inch (3.81

cm). Place the high speed

spring (36) over the high speed

spring plunger (37), with the

tightly wound end of spring

against the shoulder of the

plunger.

v. Insert plunger and spring

assembly in the high speed

spring retainer. Thread the

idle screw (35) approximately 1

inch (2.54 cm) into the tapped

end of the plunger. Thread the

locknut (34) over the idle

screw.

w. Insert the low speed spring

(39) in the low speed spring

cap (40) and the small end of

the spring seat (38) in the

opposite end of the low speed

spring (39).

x. Insert low speed spring seat

and low speed spring and cap

assembly in the high speed

spring plunger (37) with the

spring seat (38) against the

shoulder of idle screw (35).
