MOTOR, HYDRAULIC, RAMP WINCH .
a. The ramp hoisting arrangement consists of a hoisting cable deadended to one side of the craft, running through
fairlead sheaves through the ramp and to a winch on the opposite side. The winch is on the port side.
b. The winch is powered by a hydraulic motor. Other system components include a four way control valve,
counterbalance valve, two engine driven pumps, two check valves, suction line strainers, and return line filters. See
figure below for ramp system diagram. Return hydraulic fluid from the counterbalance valve is routed to a reservoir.
