Place the bearing
retainers (81) on top
of the bearings
(97) and the end
plate (88), then,
install the shims
(80), retainer
lockwashers (79) and
capscrews (78).
Tighten the capscrews
(78) to 7 - 9 lb-ft
(9 - 12 Nm) torque.

Make a preliminary
check of the rotor-
to-end plate and
rotor-to-housing
clearances at this
time with a feeler
gage. Refer to
figure below for
minimum blower
clearances.
