If necessary, turn the
bearing retainer clock-
wise to decrease or
counterclockwise to
increase the drive
shaft bearing end
play.

Repeat the above steps
to make sure the
readings are correct.
Then install the bearing
retainer lock plate,
lock washer and bolt.

Remove the shim stock
and the dial indicator.
(13)
Support the clutch
housing and drive shaft
assembly on wood blocks
in a horizontal position.
(14)
Fill the roller bearing
cavity through the
grease fitting, above
the bearing, with a
grease gun until the
grease just starts to
seep out around the
clutch drive shaft at
the bearing retainer,
or at the rear of the
clutch housing.
NOTE
Rotate the clutch drive shaft when filling the bearing cavity to be sure the bearing cavity is full of
grease.
