Batteries
WARNING
Do not smoke when observing
battery electrolyte level.
Batteries give off fumes that
can explode. Electrolyte is an
acid and can cause personal
injury if it contacts skin or
eyes. Wear approved goggles,
gloves, and apron.
Batteries,
Inspect batteries, terminals,
cables and
connections, cables and vent
terminals
caps for cleanliness and
tightness. Clean or tighten
terminal connections as
required. Clean battery as
required.
Electrolyte
Check electrolyte level with
hydrometer.

Battery Charger
Check battery charger for
proper connections to battery.
Ammeter should read near 0 for
a trickle charge. If the
reading is above 3 AMPS, refer
to unit maintenance.
