CAUTION
Do not rotate the crankshaft. The upper rod bearing
can fall out and cause damage.
The cylinder number on the rod and cap must be the
same. If the numbers are different, the parts will fail
and cause severe engine damage.
The side of the cap with the chamfer must be toward
the fillet radius of the crankshaft journal.  The
bearing tang on the rod and cap must be positioned
together.
(11) Install connecting rod cap (5, FIG. 3-22) and machine bolts (3). Tighten the machine bolts (3)
alternately and evenly to pull the cap over the pin dowels.
