NOTE
The special ring (12, FIG. 4-75) must be installed with the curved edge down.
(8) Install special ring (12). Push liner (8) in block by hand.
(9) Install liner installation tool bridge assembly. Install two cylinder head capscrews. Torque
capscrews to 35 ft-lb (45 N-m).
(10) Install push plate. Ensure plate is aligned on the cylinder liner. Turn the push screw until it
touches push plate.
