REPLACEMENT
a.
Install end of intermediate shaft assembly (11) into cover (12) and attach
r e t a i n i n g ring (13).
b.
Install end of pinion shaft group (6) into cover (12) and attach retaining
r i n g (5).
Install end of sun shaft group (10) into cover (12) and attach retaining ring
c.
(4).
Install rod (8) into shifter yoke assembly (7).
d.
Install rod and yoke assembly into cover (12).
e.
f.
Install cover (12) with units installed into mechanical transmission (9).
Install lockwasher (14) and machine screw (15) into cover (12).
g.
Install shaft cover (3) on cover (12) with machine screws (2) and washers
h.
(1).
NOTE
Gears may have to be rotated to clear transmission
housing assembly.
Refer to paragraph 2-57 to install mechanical transmission.
