REMOVAL
WARNING
Scuttle is heavy. To prevent personal
injury at least two soldiers should handle.
Open scuttle (1, FIGURE 2-182).

Remove cotter pins (4) from cylindrical pin(3).
b.
Remove cylindrical pin (3) from hinge blades.
c.
Remove flat washers (2).
d.
Remove scuttle (1) from closure.
