REMOVAL

Using a cutting torch, remove pilothouse top ladders and handrails (1, Sheet 1).

REPAIR

NOTE

Pilothouse ladders and handrails are welded

assemblies and a cutting and welding torch

k i t is required to repair. All parts must

be manufactured from same material. Refer

to TM 55-1905-223-24P.

Repair metallic pipe (2, 4, Sheet 2).

Repair plate (3).

Repair flat bar (5, 6, 7, Sheets 2 and 3).

Repair square bar (10, Sheet 4).

Remove machine bolt (9) and self-locking hexagon head nut (8).
