REMOVAL

WARNING

High pressures exist inside lamp, especially when hot, and could

explode. Handle lamp only in its protective cover.

Protect eyes and wear gloves when handling lamp.

Avoid direct or reflected radiation from the lamp.

Do not stand close in front of searchlight. Cover glass when

lamp is lighted.

a. Tag and disconnect electrical leads.

b. Remove hexagon capscrew (6, Figure 3-48), lockwasher (5), and flat washer

(4).
