INITIAL SETUP :
Tools
Equipment Condition
Tool kit, general mechanic's,
Washer machine.
Agitator post assembly removed,
para. 2-85 .
DISASSEMBLY
a. Remove tapered pin (1) and drive block (9).
b. Remove retaining ring (4), washer (5), and thrust washer (3).
c. Remove drive shaft (8) and flat washers (2, 7).
REPAIR
Repair at this level of maintenance is by replacement of worn or defective parts.
ASSEMBLY
a. Install flat washer (2, 7) and drive shaft (8) in agitator post (6).
b. Install thrust washer (3), washer (5), and retaining ring (4).
c. Install drive block (9) and tapered pin (1).
d. Refer to paragraphs 2-85 .
