i. Remove screw (14).
j. Remove link (15).
k. Remove gasket (16).
l. Remove screw (18) and fan cowl (19).
m. Remove retaining ring (20) and external fan (21).
n. Remove feather key (22).
o. Remove four screws (17) and end shield (23).
p. Use bearing puller to remove contact roller bearing (24).
q. Remove cox ring (25) and inner bearing cap (26).
r. Remove feather key (22).
s. Remove four machine screws (36).
t. Remove end shield (35).
u. Remove equalizing ring (34) and resilient ring (33).
v. Remove rotor (30) from stator (29).
w. Use bearing puller to remove contact roller bearing (32).
x. Remove cox ring (31).
REPAIR
Repair of motor assembly is by replacing resilient ring (33), contact roller
bearing (24), gasket (5, 16), retaining ring (20), feather keys (22), contact
roller bearing (32), rotor (30), stator (29).
NOTE
Refer to LO 55-1905-223-12 for motor lubrication procedures.
ASSEMBLY
a. Install cox ring (31) and rotor (30).
b. Use arbor press to install contact roller bearing (32) on rotor.
c. Install rotor (30) in stator (29).
d. Install resilient ring (33) and equalizing ring (34).
e. Install end shield (35).
