(3) Tag and disconnect wire leads from thermostat (13).
(4) Loosen set screw (11) and remove knob (12).
(5) Remove attaching hardware from thermostat.
(6) Remove thermostat (13) from rear of cover (9).
REPAIR
Repair of circulation heater consists of replacing heater element assembly (3) and heater thermostat (13).
ASSEMBLY
a. Heater Thermostat.
(1) Position thermostat (13) on rear of cover (9).
(2) Install attaching hardware on thermostat.
(3) Install knob (12) and secure with set screw (11).
(4) Connect wire leads (14) to thermostat. Remove tags.
(5) Install thermostat control circuit leads (14) and cover (9).
(6) Install four screws (10) and secure cover to junction box (8).
b. Heater Element Assembly.
(1) Position gasket (7) on flange (2).
(2) Lower heater element assembly (3) into circulation heater (15).
(3) Install bolts (1) and nuts (16) on flanges (2).
(4) Install wire harness (17) and connect fittings (6) on heater element assembly.
(5) Connect electrical wiring on terminals at heater element assembly. Remove tags.
(6) Install terminal cover (5) on beater element assembly (3).
(7) Install four screws (4).
(8) Open suction and discharge valves. Remove tags.
(9) Restore power to lube oil purifier heater. Remove tags.
