REMOVAL
a. Secure port propeller (31, Sheet 1) or starboard propeller (32) to prevent propulsion shaft (7) from
turning.
b. Support expander tube brake assembly (15) and remove the assembly mounting support plates.
Refer to Chapter 3 .
c. While supporting the expander tube brake assembly (15), move it aft enough down the shaft (7) to
have enough clearance to disconnect shaft coupling flange (16).
