WARNING
The intermediate shaft is heavy. Use a lifting sling
and hoisting device to remove and replace the
shaft. Be sure the lifting sling is properly attached to
keep the shaft balanced, and to keep the sling from
slipping off the ends.
REMOVAL
Attach a lifting sling and hoisting device to intermediate shaft (1) and lift shaft clear of the middle casing (2).
