Cooling System-continued
b. Remove lower expansion tank hose.
c. Remove pipe plug and water pump body
NOTE
If engine has one or more tank type coolant
heaters, remove pipe plug from bottom of each.
Fill cooling system.
a. Close radiator draincock.
b. Install lower expansion tank hose.
c. Install pipe plug in water pump body.
NOTE
If engine has one or more tank type coolant
heaters, remove pipe plug from bottom of each.
d. Add coolant, refer to TB 55-1900-207-24 for antifreeze and other
additives required.
e. Install expansion tank cap.
f. Operate engine and check for leaks.

Valves and Injectors
Adjust valves and injectors every 1500 hours or annually whichever
occurs first. Refer to page 3-32 para (5)-0.
