Section VII. GENERAL ALARM SYSTEM
4-13. GENERAL. In the event of an emergency, the general alarm may be activated from either the
pilothouse or the emergency generator room in order to alert the crew. The general alarm system consists of
14 bells throughout the ship and a high intensity red strobe light in the engine room. The 8-inch bells are
located in the following spaces:
