INSTALLATION--CUTLESS BEARING
1.
Procure a new cutless bearing.
2.
Install the cutless bearing (17) in the strut (15).
3.
Tighten the bolts (18) that secure the upper and lower strut castings.
4.
Secure the cutless bearing (17) with the capscrews (16).
5.
Remove the lockouts and tagouts and check the operation of the system.
