Notes:
16. Install filters, fill crankcase. Operate at idle and inspect for leaks. Shut off engine, and allow 5 minutes for oil to
drain to crankcase. Check oil level with dipstick.
17. Check crankcase level with engine shutdown.
18. A sample of oil shall be sent to an AOAP Laboratory for analysis at an interval of 100 hours or 90 days for Active Army
and 50 hours or 180 days for USAR/NG. Refer to TB 43-0211 for sampling requirements.
19. When AOAP Laboratory support is not available, drain and refill crankcase at 250 hours or 6 months.
20. Clean grease fitting. Apply 2 or 3 strokes of grease from a hand held lubrication gun. Wipe off excess.
