Notes:
73. Remove upper left cabinet panel for access to blower motor. Apply 6 to 8 drops of 20W lubricating oil to each motor
bearing oil passage.
WARNING
Before opening the oil fill or oil drain plugs, close suction and discharge stop valves.
Purge the refrigerant charge to remove oil pressure. Failure to remove oil pressure can
cause the oil fill or oil drain plugs to come loose at high velocity injuring personnel.
74. Check sight glass after compressor has run for 10 minutes. Oil should be at the half-way point in the sight glass.
Add compressor oil as required to maintain proper level. Loosen drain plug only enough for oil to seep from around the
plug. Do not totally remove plug or too much oil may be lost.
