SELECTOR SWITCH
The selector switch selects mode of operation. The switch must be
set to AUTO.

OPERATION SWITCH
The operation switch controls the mode of operation. Set the
operation switch to FD 10SEC.

SPARE POWER CONNECTOR
The spare power connector is not used for the
GMDSS installation.

SERIAL INTERFACE
The cable from the INMARSAT data terminal, tagged IBM-
CONNECTOR A
TERM/PRNSB, attaches to serial interface connector A.

SERIAL INTERFACE
The cable from the J6 connector on the 9701 console, tagged
CONNECTOR B
GMDSS-J6/PRNSB, attaches to serial interface connector B.

SERIAL INTERFACE
The cable from the INMARSAT printer, tagged PRNSB/
CONNECTOR C
INMARSAT PRN, attaches to serial interface connector C.
