Install the paper roller (7) and paper (5). Feed the paper (5) into the printer and behind the paper feed roller.

Remove the access cover (8) and raise the paper bail (9) by moving bail lever (10) forward.
5.
Roll the paper (5) forward by rotating the platen knob (11) clockwise.
6.
Lower the paper separator (2) so that the paper (5) enters the printer from under the paper separator (2) and exits
the printer going over the paper separator (2).
7.
Make sure the paper separator lever (12) is in the CLOSED (back) position.
8.
Lower the bail (9) by placing the bail lever (10) to the aft position and replace the access cover (8).
