12. Remove the bottom cover (14) from the 9701 console (1).

a.
Tilt the 9701 console (1) backwards to allow the removal of the bottom cover (14).
{1} Remove small knob (15), felt washers (16) and PVC washers (17) from both sides of the 9701
console (1) and the mount bracket (18).
{2} Loosen large knob (19) on both sides of the 9701 console (1) and the mount bracket (18).
b.
Tilt the 9701 console (1) to approximately a 25 degree angle. Place a wedge (block of wood) (20) between
the 9701 console (1) and the mount bracket (18) to keep the console tilted at this angle.
c.
Tighten large knob (19) on both sides of the 9701 console (1) and the mount bracket (18) to keep the console
tilted during disassembly.
d.
Remove bottom cover (14).
{1} Remove 13 screws (21) that secure bottom cover to 9701 console (1).
{2} Remove bottom cover (14).
13. Remove MF/HF DSC controller (22).
a.
Remove eight mounting screws (23) from front of MF/HF DSC controller faceplate (24).
