Using socket with 10 inch and 6 inch extensions, remove nut (2) and washer (3) securing anode (4) to shaft (5).

Remove anode (4) from mounting shaft (5) and discard.

Thoroughly clean anode mounting shaft and tail cone mating surfaces with degreasing solvent and steel wool. Wash

with soap and water solution and dry.
INSTALL:
Position replacement anode (4) on tail cone shaft (5).

Using socket with 10 inch and 6 inch extensions install washer (3) and nut (2) and tighten using socket.
