ENGINE OIL. Check the oil level on dipstick
Low oil level.
(1) before starting the engine. If necessary,
add oil by removing oil filler cap (2) from oil
filler tube (3) to bring it to the proper level on
the dipstick.
Pump not primed.

FRESH WATER PUMP. Check the prime on
the fresh water pump. The engine should
not be operated with a dry pump. Prime the
pump, if necessary, by opening the draincock
(47) to bleed out trapped air. Close the
draincock (47) and add anti-freeze required.
