GEAR HOUSING. Remove breather cap (7).
Drain gear housing (8) by removing pipe plug
(9). Drain into a suitable container.
NOTE
Do not drain oil into bilges. Use
oil separation/recovery system
to collect drained oil.
Replace pipe plug (9). Refill gear housing
with approximately 10 gallons (7.85 l) of oil
(MIL-L-2105D, GO 80/90) through the pipe
nipple for breather cap (7). Replace breather
cap (7).
