The sprinkling system must be drained after use in freezing temperatures.

Shut down the fire pump. Refer to paragraph 2-78.
(2)
Rotate the drain valve (2) counter-clockwise.
(3)
Water will drain onto the deck and into the bilges.
(4)
Disconnect portable spray pipes from fire plugs.
