(i)
During the filling of ballast tanks, refer to the tank level Indicator (TLI) to determine the contents of the ballast
tanks. Refer to paragraph 2-74 for TLI operating instructions.

S.W. Ballast (2-66-0-W) - Contents of seawater ballast tank in the stern.

S.W. Ballast (2-18-2-W) - Contents of seawater ballast Port side.

S.W. Ballast (2-18-1-W) - Contents of seawater ballast tank starboard side.

S.W. Ballast (2-8-0-W) - Contents of seawater ballast tank in the bow.

To stop the filling of the ballast tanks.

When the desired ballast levels are obtained, stop the fire pump by pressing the STOP switch (12) on the fire
pump controller.
