2-163. SEARCHLIGHT-REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.
a.
To remove the searchlight and pedestal, proceed as follows:
(1)
Remove power plug (1) from receptacle.
(2)
Install cover (2) on receptacle.
(3)
Rotate searchlight locking arm (3) to loosen base of searchlight.
(4)
Remove searchlight and stow in storeroom.
(5)
Remove nuts (4), lockwashers (5), washers (6), and bolts (7).
(6)
Lower pedestal (8) to the deck.
