4. Excessive exhaust back pressure.
Step 1.
Check for excessive muffler resistance.
Check the exhaust back pressure and repair or
replace the muffler if an obstruction is found.
Refer to Direct Support Maintenance.
Step 2.
Check for faulty exhaust piping.
Check the exhaust back pressure. Refer to Direct
Support Maintenance.

NOTE
o Make checks with minimum water outlet temperature of 160F (71C).
o An alarm will sound in the pilot house.
1. Lubricating oil.
Step 1.
Check for suction loss.
Check the oil and bring it to the proper level on
the dipstick.
Step 2.
Check lubricating oil viscosity.
Use the recommended grade and viscosity of oil.
