1. Engine driven pump fails to raise pressure (Cont.)
Step 2.
Check for low fluid level.
The fluid level in the reservoir must be sufficient to completely cover the
screen at the bottom of the tank after accumulator is charged and the
engine-driven pump is by-passing a full stream of fluid to the reservoir.
Step 3.
Check for plugged screen or filter.
a. Remove and clean the reservoir screen and flush out reservoir tank.
Refer to paragraph 3-180.
b. Clean the filter located in the supply hose between the reservoir and the
engine-driven pump. Refer to paragraph 3-180.
