This procedure is to be used when removing the cam- shaft or balance shaft without removing the flywheel
housing and disconnecting the generator. Refer to Direct Support Maintenance to remove the camshaft and
balance shaft when the engine is removed from vessel.
REMOVAL

Place a wooden block

2. Camshaft

Remove.

Remove from camshaft gear
end.

Remove from balance

weight end.

d. Balance

Remove from camshaft in-
